Realty firm Eros Group is expecting around Rs 900 crore revenue from its new housing project in Greater Noida (West) on strong demand for premium residential properties. The company has recently launched its new housing project 'Eros Sampoornam 3' in Greater Noida West comprising a total of 726 units. The project is spread over 5.5 acre and is scheduled to be delivered by 2028. To begin with, Eros Group has opened 318 units across five towers for sale and has already sold around 180 units valuing Rs 250 crore. Avneesh Sood Director, Eros Group said, "The early sales success reflects the trust and confidence that homebuyers have in our brand." Three people were killed, two injured and seven feared trapped after a three-storey house collapsed in this Uttar Pradesh district on Saturday, officials said. "Twelve people got buried under the debris after the sudden collapse of the house. Till now, five people have been taken out from the debris. Of them, three died and two injured have been admitted to Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College," the relief commissioner's office said. The incident occurred around 5:15 pm and emergency services were immediately alerted, it said. District Magistrate Deepak Meena confirmed the collapse of the three-storey house in Zakir Colony. Officials initially said around six people were trapped under the debris. Senior officials rushed to the spot to oversee the rescue operations. National Disaster Response Force, fire brigade and police teams are working to rescue those trapped under the debris.

The Uttar Pradesh government will soon organise the groundbreaking ceremony of investment proposals worth Rs 10 lakh crore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday. Inviting the semiconductor industry to invest in the state, the chief minister highlighted that Uttar Pradesh offers incentives such as land subsidies and capital subsidies of 25 per cent for chip units under a policy. Together with the Centre's incentives of 50 per cent, chip units can get subsidies of up to 75 per cent for investment proposals, the chief minister stated. Police on Sunday booked the owner of the three-storey building here that collapsed a day ago, killing eight people, officials said. Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Amit Verma said a police team is investigating the matter and the accused will be arrested soon. A senior police official said an FIR has been lodged against Rakesh Singhal, the owner of the Harmilap building in the Transport Nagar area. The building collapsed on Saturday evening triggering a major rescue operation. Eight people were killed in the incidents while 28 others were injured in the incident. Five major property markets in Uttar Pradesh, including Noida and Greater Noida, have 378 stalled housing projects, comprising nearly 1.46 lakh units, according to PropEquity. Real estate data analytic firm PropEquity data showed that as many as 378 housing projects comprising 1,45,880 units are stalled across Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Agra in Uttar Pradesh. As per the data, Greater Noida has 167 stalled projects with 74,645 units. Noida has 103 stalled housing projects comprising 41,438 units, while Ghaziabad witnessing 50 stalled projects with 15,278 units. A three-storey building collapsed in the Transport Nagar area here on Saturday evening, trapping around a dozen people under the rubble, officials said. As per information provided by the office of the UP Relief Commissioner, ten people were injured in the incident. They were rescued and sent to the hospital. The incident occurred at around 5 pm. The building was being used as a godown, officials said. Some construction work was being done in the three-storey building, police said. Senior police and administrative officials are on the spot to oversee the ongoing rescue operations. "Rescue teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been deployed to the scene and are working to extricate the trapped individuals," said Relief Commissioner GS Naveen Kumar.
